Northminster Presbyterian Church

"We are called to love God and our neighbors."

We believe that God loves each one of us and has created us in His own image to have a relationship with Him.

We believe that we have each turned away from God and gone our own way, and that this rebellion that God calls sin has caused brokenness, tragedy and death in our world.

We believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus into our world to be born in a humble stable in Bethlehem to show us that He loves us even when we have turned away from Him.

We believe that Jesus willingly gave his life on a cross at Calvary to pay the penalty for our sin and rebellion, and to heal our relationship with God and each other.

We believe that Jesus rose from the dead to give us life and hope for tomorrow.

We believe that everyone who receives the gift of forgiveness in Jesus Christ, who trusts Him as Savior and Lord will be given the power to become children of God through God's Holy Spirit and live with Him forever.

We believe that the Bible is God's revelation to us of His love and concern for us. It is our trustworthy guide for life now and forever.

We believe that the church is a group of imperfect folks, called to follow Jesus on an adventure of faith.

We believe that we are called to love God with all our heart, soul and strength; and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

If you would like to talk with someone about any of these things, or about questions you may have about God, email us at npc@northpres.org or phone us at 661-325-0929.
